Gilbert Rukschcio studied politics in Vienna, and at Sciences Po Aix, a French political studies institute in Aix-en-Provence. Since then EU affairs have played a central role in his career. After a spell at the European Parliament during Austria’s presidency of the Council in 2006, he was instrumental in establishing and later expanding Pleon Publico’s EU office in Brussels.
During his four years there, Gilbert advised a number of clients from Austria and abroad, including BASF; a leading alternative investment company; the Austrian Association for Building Materials and Ceramic Industries; the Group of the European People’s Party (EPP) in the European Parliament; and Verband der Arzneimittel-Importeure Deutschlands, the German industry association for pharmaceutical importers.
Gilbert Rukschcio co-founded peritia communications in 2011 and in his role as managing director was instrumental in developing the agency’s expertise in European affairs. Following peritia’s merger with cumclave he was appointed Managing Partner of the newly founded pantarhei advisors europe.
GIlbert is one of Austria’s most experienced European policy advisers thanks to his time in Brussels. He specialises in strategic consulting on issues and challenges with a strong European element.
